'Small lady' shows up at Phl impeach court
Laughter and whisper of the spectators from the gallery filled the Philippine impeachment court Wednesday after one of the defense lawyers asked Kaya Natin convenor Harvey Keh if he was the “small lady” referred to by the prosecution panel.
Atty. Dennis Manalo also asked Keh if he was the “small lady”, who was the source of the bank documents of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
The impeachment court did not block Manalo’s manner of questioning because of considerations that the defense lawyer may have something to point out.
Keh is the defense panel’s second hostile witness.
The defense on Monday presented Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales as its first hostile witness regarding the alleged 10 million-dollar deposit of Corona.
