Katrina's Posters Desecrated in Pakistan
An activist group of Pakistan seems to have taken up the campaign against the posters of Katrina. Her image has been smeared in black, with 'Sell your clothes, not your honour' beneath it. Not only Kat, even Pakistani star Meera's Lux ad seems to have borne the wrath of similar protesters.
The incident having occurred last week are a reminder for those who want to urge conservative cultures to let their kids make their choices. By Indian standards, the ads have been received as nothing distasteful, so we wonder what really offended the objectors!
All we can do is hope our neighbours on the west understand that expression is a universal right, and what offends one may appeal to the other!
