I am a member of the U.S. Malitary retired reserve.I served my country for 21 years and this is the thanks I get. I live in Palau and have a Residence card from the Republic of Palau. My Wife and I both need an operation. My wife needs a tube implanted in her ear so she can hear. I need to have one or both of my knees replaced and I am 100% service connected combat veteran. We are trying to go to TAMC in Hi, but to do that my wife needs a visa. I was told by the Ambassader and the CDA that because I was a Resident that getting a NIV Visa would not be a problem. So on the 8th of may local time my wife went for her interview.Visa Denied. Why, they are afraid that my wife might try to become an immigrant. In the U.S. we have between 11 to 12 million undocumented immigrants. We are trying to do things the Right way and get treated like Criminals. My wife needs this Operation, I need an operation. I am 70 years old and I need it before it's to late. But I will not leave my family here for 6 months while i'm in the Hospital, because I cannot afford to support 2 households
