    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     markpel describes Slubice -- a small market town which hugs Poland's eastern border with Germany -- as a must for any tourist traveling through the region. "Here it is always possible to buy something ... or more important to get contact with local people," he says. Only one hour away from Berlin, Sublice attracts many German bargain hunters keen to take advantage of favourable foreign exchange rates at the town’s bustling bazaar, he adds.
