Light Years: Your view of space and stars |
Eclipse from Newport Beach
When we parked, we saw everyone looking up at the sky. I took out my DSLR camera. It was so cloudy. This turned out to be an advantage of sorts, and it let me snap a couple pictures. I took more on our way home, and they didn't come out too good, but put them here. The cloudy pictures were of it at the beginning phase. The others were taken as the moon exited the sun.
The cloudy pictures were taken at Newport Beach at 5:06 PST and the others were taken on the way home, going northbound on the 57 FWY. Those were taking between 6:36 PM PST and 6:42 PM PST.
