    Eclipsing Oil

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     CARoadman says since the eclipse was low on the horizon when it reached annularity, he was able to photograph it without protective eyewear. 'I also found a place where I was standing on undulating sand dunes, so I could change my elevation to position the pump-jack,' he says. While watching the eclipse he says he reflected on the rare event and 'how magical and amazing our place in the universe can be.' He describes the eclipse as something that reminded him of infinity. 'At mid eclipse, looking into the blackness in the center of the sun was like looking into forever... like a worm hole, if that could be imagined,' he says.
