Charlotte Rocks!!!
Charlotte is a fantastic city with so much to offer. I particularly love all the great restaurants and the live music scene that continues to grow and thrive in countless communities throughout the city. Charlotte is not too big and not too small, it is the perfect size. It has all the offerings of a big city, but all the charm and manageability of a small city. I travel an hour to Charlotte and an hour back home on a weekly basis just to get my fix of live music in the city. The Evening Muse is my favorite spot with The Visulite Theatre and The Neighborhood Theatre not far behind. So many new venues like The Music Factory have opened up recently while the old staples such as The Double Door Inn are still local favorites. It's great to walk downtown and sneak into the different bars and restaurants hosting live music throughout the week. NODA is so much fun with live music available every night of the week, unique shops, local artists, and fabulous restaurants, in addition to their monthly gallery crawls. And the outdoor festivals are fantastic, especially since Charlotte has such great weather year round. I like to visit my friends in Charlotte by meeting up at a new restaurant each time. It gives us all a chance to experience all the great dining options available while catching up on life in general. When I travel for conventions, I always check out the city's live music scene. As a business professional, I work for HIckory Furniture Mart in the furniture industry and many people traveling to Charlotte for conventions take advantage of all the great furniture resources in the region and throughout the state of North Carolina. I hope more people are able experience Charlotte and all its offerings in the near future. It truly is a great place.to work, live, play and visit!
