Let's see now...911 happened. Bush had to blame someone and America had to take revenge somewhere, I mean you can't just level the 2 most prominent buildings in a place like NY and expect to get away with it right ?

So how did the US government resolve the problem....hmmm lemme see....let's invade iraq and aghanistan Guys......why not ?.. bin laden and al qaeda were based there together with their terrorist training camps and the taliban were NOT going to surrender them or cooperate with America or anyone else !

Okay here's a great idea and a timely retribution so the whole World can see the REAL might and muscle of a SUPERPOWER Country ! Let's call on our allies and pour tens of thousands of Western troops and billions of $ into wars and force America's version of democracy down their throats ! Yep that'll work and NO ONE will dare mess with the USA ever again ! Nice fantasy...but not reality !

Wrong ! like Vietnam it was a terrible mistake and we gained nothing other than sacrificing thousands of Western soldiers lives, reducing thousands more to paraplegics and wounded,etc and costing hundreds of thousands of the lives of innocent people in those Countries !

Now the US, nato,etc. are preparing to call it quits...get REALLY hammered on departure like the British did by the pashtuns (now talibans) centuries ago and watch from afar as the taliban, al qaeda and the endless bunch of fanatical Western, infidel hating jihadists and insurgents, urged on by their imams and mullahs assassinate ALL the Western installed leaders and politicians then reclaim every inch of territory they occupied before the West invaded !

In other words folks the whole damn venture was bad news BEFORE it begn and I am NOT the ONLY one who thought so ! Obama and millions of Americans and British (of which I am one) also were fervently against those wars !

There were and are NO WMD and NO clear and present dangers proven other than a bunch of saudis NOT iraqis or afghanistanis hijacking those planes and bringing the twin towers down ! The motive behind that was to show the arab peoples and the whole World that a bunch of untrained, ordinary people could in fact cause unbelievable damage to the World's richest and most powerful Country and they did just that to the shock and bewilderment of America and the World Without deadly weapons or an army, just a few dedicated, religiously indoctrinated jihadists achieved what a huge military invasive force could not ! America was and is prepared for full scale military defensive operations and tactical response, not incidents of imaginative and cleverly, not to mention sneakily planned attacks liike 911 and yes it could and probably will happen again and NOT just to America either !

In previous times insurgents, terrorists...call them what you will NEVER had access to IED's and car boms on the scale of today's conflicts which are costing far too many Western military lives ! They realise they can't win man to man, soldier to soldier, so they have understandably resorted to whatever below the belt dirty tricks and guerilla war tactics are necessary to drive the infidels out...and it's working !

Once we are gone does anyone really doub't who will get their hands on the power and the oil then use the revenues to further their form of islam across the whole region ?

We can't afford any more losses both in lives or Western economies that are already on their knees by spendng more on fighting and killing people in foreign lands than feeding and housing their own poor and unemployed !

Then there is the added problem of returning troops, many who have lost best buddies over there and who will always harbor resentment and anger towards their governments for subjecting them, their families, friends and neighbors to unwinable conflicts such as these ! More than a few of them will have very short fuses too and violence WILL surge again in their own Countries just as it did after the Vietnam war !

I admit their is NO easy solution to the jihadists agendas and determination to use violent, destructive tactics to "RULE THE WORLD " They are NOT that different to the nazi, japanese, russian and chinese ones in different times but similar objectives ! Other than reducing them to dust...

                          THERE AIN'T NO SIMPLE SOLUTION !
