    Presidential voting continues in Egypt

CAIRO (USA TODAY) — Egyptians voted Thursday on the second day of a presidential election that has pitted candidates who support Islamic law against former members of the Egyptian regime ousted in an historic uprising.

Voters lined up again outside polling centers and emerged with ink-stained fingers, a safety measure to ensure people do not try to vote twice. The vote follows elections earlier this year for seats in parliament and a revolution that removed longtime dictator Hosni Mubarak in February 2011.
