    Election 2012: Your stories

Choices, Choices, or a lack thereof

It seems that every Presidential election gets worse and worse, the last few elections I have walked into the voting booth and realized my choices are....well they suck, and every year when I think it can get any worse........it does. Sure I know that I could vote for one of the alternate choices, such as the Libertarian Candidate, or even an Independent, but as we all know that's wasting your vote and I would much rather make it count.
So let's take a look at what we have. Obama, this guy spends more money than LBJ, during the Vietnam War. His economic plans may be working somewhat, but even that is questionable, and if it is working it's taking it's time. He has failed to deliver on cutting the deficit and spent the first year of his term shoving a healthcare plan that most people didn't want down our throats. This is mind you, the best the Democratic party has to offer.
Now lets look at Mitt Romney. Granted I was a Newt fan, but that boat sailed and I'm just now taking the time to learn about Romney. I agree with him on "some" of his beliefs, but he falls short on most of them with me, and personally he just seems like another rich old white guy that wants to be in charge.
The point is we Americans have only the choice of one extreme or another when we walk into that booth. There has never been a serious contender for the Presidency who is "in the middle". It has come to the point the NO PRESIDENT does what the people want, which is his job. They all seem to pushing their own agenda, which is what they want.
So at election time this year I will, as usual, vote for the lesser of two evils and hope that if the lesser evil wins that he doesn't screw it up.....to much.
