Taipei Experience
We were also fortunate enough to visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, in honor of the leader who fled the civil war in China which brought the Communist party into power there. Even though it was under construction when I was there, it was so grand and awesome. The gardens around the main building were a place of peace and beauty in the middle of a loud, bustling city.
