Photos of Marine 100 Mile Trek

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jbjimbo captured these photos on May 26 as Marines from the third Battalion of the twenty-fifth Marines Regiment was halfway through their 100 mile trek. He says there was something that one of the marines said that he found to be memorable and also interesting. 'He kept thanking me for being there, but I thought that was backwards, we should be thanking them,' he says. He describes the marines as being happy and humble. The marines where greeted by a road lined with firefighters. 'It felt very patriotic,' he says. 'Some firefighters were waving and others were saluting. The second assistant chief of the fire department said he got a bit teary eyed when I interviewed him,' he says.
