    Art and Nature Meet

     

    AnneMarie Garden located in Solomans Maryland where the Patuxent River meets the Chesapeake Bay. Art and nature meet during the forest walk , with over 30 works of art on loan from The National Gallery of Art and The Smithsonian Institution, Hirshhorn Garden and Museum. Festivals such as Garden in Lights (for the holiday season) Halloween in the Garden where children trick or treat from local business and organizations are all decked and in costume out for the spooky time of year. The Fairy and Gnome Home Hunt is a very creative and adventurous scavenger hunt for old and young alike. The whimsical homes are built by school children or individuals that want to participate and scattered through the woods.
    Annmarie presents a variety of popular annual festivals, rotating exhibitions, family activities, and creative public programs. The Studio School offers classes for all ages and abilities - from pottery to dance - taught by professional artists and arts educators.
