    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NgaamC of Kyoto, Japan, documents the process of growing and cooking pea sprouts. NgaamC says she doesn't have space for an outdoor garden, so she has to grow vegetables indoors.

    I often buy a pack of pea sprout, a kind of Chinese vegetable sold quite cheap in my country. Very nutritious and tasty when fried with other vegetables or meat. It always comes with its roots to keep freshness. But don't throw it away after you cut it. Prepare a bowl with water and soak the roots into it for a week, you'll get one more packful of same product again! As you don't have to plant in soil, you can also enjoy the hydroculture on the table!
