    Art where you live

    More from VDub

    Graffiti is art.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     VDub does not consider herself to be an art appreciator, but she says she likes to see people's creations and expressions in a spontaneous way. She photographed a series of street art she came across in Faro, Portugal, while traveling solo in 2007. She considers graffiti to be a form of art, which represents street culture, but sometimes it can be considered a crime. 'What is presented could go wrong sometimes, the topic might have to be carefully selected,' she says.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

To me, graffiti is a kind of wall painting and is art. But where I live does not allow graffiti. The city government wants a clean city. However, when I traveled to somewhere else, I was always drawn to the graffiti I saw and here are some snapshots I took while I visited Faro, Portugal in 2007.
