I was inspired to create a Game of Thrones mask series because I am intrigued by the animal sigils of the royal houses. The lion, wolf and dragon (the masks I've created so far) represent and seem to influence the behavioral traits and actions of the individuals from each house. Since masks inspire changes in a wearer, (an effect that has fascinated me as an artist for years!) I wanted to build a mask series that would enable wearers to re-enact and embody the traits of their favorite characters from the show. Animal sigils are a powerful and popular influence on human behavior and I wanted to reference this and pay homage to George R.R. Martin's masterful stories with my work.
