    Why Custodial Parents Should File to Receive a Child Support Order

     

    Episode 2: Filing to Obtain a Child Support Order

    Episode 2 provides discussions related to filing to receive a child support order and determining how to calculate how much child support you should be receiving or paying. This episode was created to assist the more than 25 million custodial parents that do not have a child support order, in filing to receive obtain a child support order.

    Episode 2 also provides viewers with the prospective of Attorney Alexandra Stremler, Esq. and a custodial parent owed child support why so many custodial parents receiving inadequate child support have not filed to receive a child support order. The second scene of this episode provides viewers with a workshop on filing to obtain a child support order, and calculating how much child support they should be receiving or paying. This episodes also provides viewers with the Custodial Support Foundation's website to access each State Office of Child Support Enforcement's website.

    The Custodial Support Foundation also provides an Amnesty Program, which provides services to assist noncustodial parents in paying their child support arrears, suspending warrants for the nonpayment of child support, reinstating their driver's licenses, reinstating passports and stopping tax levies.
