    Brownsville TN Exchange Club Salutes 2 of its Citizens

    The Brownsville, TN Exchange Club thanks our local citizens: Captain William Blake English and Specialist Christopher Smoot. Both Guardsmen served their first deployment in Irag and are now on their 2nd tour in Kuwait. They are assisting in many areas including Operation Enduring Freedom.
    The Brownsville, TN Exchange Club purchased items to be sent as care packages. They invited the families of both men to attend their meeting and have lunch with the members. Betsy Waddell, Blake's mom, talked about recent conversation she had with Blake and how this tour is much better for her because she can interact with him through on-line meeting applications. Jennifer and Erica Smoot, Christopher's mom and wife, told a few stories about Erica and Chris' 4 children and how they are all looking forward to his homecoming.
    We are praying for Blake, Chris, and their supportive families and wish them well on the remainder of their tour.
