Equality of Speech
"An elderly New Jersey woman claims her Constitutional rights are being violated after a local public housing authority ordered her to remove three small American flags from the balcony of her apartment and an expert on Constitutional law said she may have a case."
Are we really so overboard with equality in this country that if we allow a woman to fly an American flag in her apartment we also have to allow Nazi flags and every other flag someone may want to fly? Can't we, as rational people, establish there is a line that most people can distinguish between what is acceptable and what is not?
This is what happens when government gets involved, everything is black and white. You can't have shades of grey when it comes to equality. So in order to pevent the skinheads from flying a Nazi flag we have to prohibit grandma from flying her American flag. Really?
