    Sawtooth Idaho Rockies

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Taken from Lower Stanley, Idaho, travel aficionado ALEXTONY captured the beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains during a trip with his wife to Yellowstone, Sawtooth and Glacier National Park. He says when he came across this view, he couldn't help but point his camera at it. "The scenic beauty of the wide open meadows, the flowing Salmon River and the majestic Sawtooth Mountains that add up to this valley is unparalleled," he says. "We would sure love to go back to this place again. This is one of the best places we have ever visited! Majestic!" His image was featured as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for July 20, 2012.

    This is a snap of Sawtooth Mountains taken from Lower Stanley, Idaho (taken yesterday - 05/29/2012). The scenic beauty that the open meadows, Salmon River and the Sawtooth mountains adds up to this valley is unparalleled. This is one BEAUTIFUL place! We would love to go back to this place again.
