    Save Harry's Law Protest Growing

Harry's  Law, starring Oscar winning actress Kathy Bates, was not renewed for  next season by NBC. The network cited that the show, though very popular  and winning its time slot, didn't appeal to the right demographics. The  network complained that viewers were over 55 and not the more  marketable younger crowd.

But doesn't the network realize that we in the senior market have children and grandchildren?

Doesn't the network realize we are the ones often supplying the money for those purchases that advertisers seek?

Doesn't the network understand we buy for our children and grandchildren?

Here's what John Kliese had to say on cincinnati.com had to say:

Are  you upset about NBC canceling “Harry’s Law” because the audience  (mostly 55+ and up) was “too old,” in the words of NBC Entertainment  Chairman Robert Greenblatt?

More than 40,000 people have “liked” the Save Harry’s Law Facebook page. Here’s the link.

But  in all honesty, I’m not sure we’ll have any impact. Eexecutive  producers Bill D’Elia and David E. Kelley already have moved on to a new  TNT medical drama, “Monday Morning.”

From the Cornfield, I for one do not want one of the best shows on television to be gone.

If NBC doesn't see the value, perhaps one of its sister networks: USA or TNT will take up the show.
