    Rural Country American Evening

    Evenings are quiet out in the country. Often while preparing dinner I gaze out the kitchen window at the peacefulness that surrounds us. We are blessed with meadows, woods and abundant wildlife. After supper we often sit on the front porch with our coffee and watch the deer in the front fields. The pond and tree frogs serenade and the air is sweet with honey suckle. I am glad I am home...all is well with my soul.
