    Heatweave in Iceland --- photos

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ander says the people in Reykjavik, Iceland are enjoying a warm summer as temperatures rise to 15 degrees Celsius, which converts to fifty-nine degrees Fahrenheit. He says temperatures have been relatively warm all week. 'We have many changes in the weather here in Iceland, but when the whole country has clear skies and heat, that is unusual,' he says. Downtown is also livening up with festivities as people are hitting the beach to get a tan and sit out in the sun. 'The atmosphere is like that of a festival, but it is just the weather we are celebrating.' he says.

    Now there is a staggering heatwave in Iceland --- and the temperature is at around a huge 15 degrees on the celsius scale.
    You can see on the video and photos , that people are enjoying this heatwave,and the forecast is for a longer heatwave and good weather all over Iceland .
    People where having fun in downtown Reykajvik,and a big band was playing for the public.
    And at the beach in Reykjavik, kids where jumoing into the North atlantic ocean , to cool off a little .
