    Russian Communist Party Leader Sentenced For Speaking Out Against Government

     
    Gennady Zyuganov, Russian Leader of Communist Party was one of the first to be fined over 900,000 rubles and receive "violation tax" on his property, for speaking out against crimes in the Russian Government on radio Echo in Russia.

    He was found guilty of violating new federal law that censors public expression of opposition to federal government and specifically president Putin.

    Aside of Zuganov, over 1000 Russians were arrested in the first quarter of 2012. New opposition protests are scheduled for June 12th of this year.
