    Art where you live

    City art, urban grafitti...

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     SlickNick says he captured these images in Rochester, New York, from 2009 and onward. 'The culture of street art in Rochester in my opinion is very advanced,' he says. 'Graffiti can be a crime when done in the wrong place, however, when boarded up, beat up old buildings is vacant, in my opinion it makes the building look better. Street art to me is a person showing his talent, many artists go undiscovered.' He says street art is done by many unknown artists, 'they take chances when and where they do it,' he explains. He highlights the difference between public art and street art as well. 'Public art is more refined, governed, monitored as to where it's displayed I think.'
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

I live in Rochester New York. And through the years I've taken an interest in the varieties of graffiti I've seen in various neighborhoods. And as always, I have my camera with me 24/7. Stay tuned, more coming later.
