CNN PRODUCER NOTE     kgoodwinNC says that the last four years have been good to his family despite a failed attempt to sell their home. He's seen personal and economic fortune from marrying his wife and welcoming the birth of twin boys to purchasing his first car and getting better job opportunities. 'For me, it's a mixed bag. I'm a consultant. Right around 2008, a lot of those opportunities were becoming less solid than they were in previous years. In the last couple years, I’ve noticed more opportunities,' he said. 'I happened to see the article when I was reading CNN. I really got to thinking about my life and said, 'We actually are doing better off than before. It didn't seem like anyone was telling that side – that we have grown in the past four years.''
