    ON THE RECENT VATICAN CRITICISM OF NUNS.....

     

    "To my thinking, nuns single handedly carried the mission of the Catholic Church to the people--did the real outreach, ran the schools and never committed acts of sexual immorality with the parishioners. Of course some were anger addicts and were masters of corporal punishment. Nevertheless, they should be given medals of honor, not publicly castigated by the Vatican."
