Sethunya v. Weber State University et al
When bad luck happens to people in general, it is bad luck. When bad luck happens to black people, it is because of something they did before they were born. Recall Curse of Ham or the War in Heaven
The story of Victoria Sethunya is a horror movie of a woman who was misguided into the Mormon faith only to pay later by losing everything she had to defend Utah Mormons' white collar crimes. Utah local courts dodged the question she asked to the court to demand that Mormon state officials correct errors they admitted they made and issue her a valid diploma she duly earned.
These errors caused her loss of immigration status in the US, left her with corrupted student files and penniless for filing motion after motion trying to defend her black skin in Utah.
The Utah Mormon officials did not deny that they caused her the damages in and out of court and yet they refused to fix the errors. Unfortunately she could not represent herself well in a foreign language, legal culture and when at the same time she was battling a deportation on the same issue in a different court.
An average reader wonders why it is that Mormons did not take the responsibility for their actions. To get to the bottom of this answer you have to understand the relationship of Mormons and Blacks. There you will find justification for how they handled this case.
