Where is Eli Soriano now? A report from the Interpol Agency or the International Police says that he reside in Brazil, a large country in South America. Wisely to hide his self from being caught under the law. The Philippines and Brazil had no extradition treaty like the Netherlands to bring back fugitive to their country of origin, so Soriano is free to live there, but he is still cautious because agents of the International Police might caught him unaware.
Presenting the facts why he had to go into hiding is not evangelical in nature. Eli is preaching to his members that these are manifestations of the things written in the Holy Scriptures that a real preacher will suffer persecutions and unfair treatment just like the Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles who suffered from the government during that period. Is it true? That Soriano is suffering because of the Gospel or he is experiencing this misfortune due to his sins that he had made?
The real preachers of the Bible suffered persecutions because they tell the truth and made no mistakes, but in the part of Eli he should be persecuted and putted on jail because he intentionally made mistakes as well as to defame and malign persons. The worst thing he committed a rape and acts of lasciviousness to the same sex. And it is not only to a single person, but mostly to his male assistants including his assigned ministers who preached to their members. He is just dressing up to be respectful in the eyes of the public but inside his heart is filthiness and destruction to fellowmen just to do his will and not God’s will. This maybe harsh to his follower but this is the bare truth. And he can never deny on that on the Day of Judgment.
Members who will be affected have the right to defend Soriano because they love and believe him. But if they are victims of the deceptive acts of Eli they would easily realize that he should be placed to jail long time ago and would agree that he is not a real preacher but a messenger sent by hell.
Way back 2005 he flew to Dubai for a so called Bible exposition, and after that he no longer go back to the Philippines to preach, the intention is to abscond from the hand of Philippine laws to pay back all his felonious acts. In the November 10, 2005 issue of Philippine Daily Inquirer internet edition, it was reported Eliseo Soriano was put on the Bureau of Immigration watch list. The order was made by Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales on the request of the Pampanga Prosecutor’s Office.
In May 2006, Soriano was indicted on rape charges at the regional trial court of Macabebe, Pampanga, following a complaint filed by former MCGI assistant secretary general Daniel Veridiano that he was sexually assaulted in Apalit, Pampanga on two occasions. According to a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer report in June 2008, Soriano allegedly abused his influence by directing Veridiano “to come into his room, massage him and have anal intercourse”, an act that was against the consent of Veridiano. Macabebe Regional Trial Court Judge Manuel Siyangco issued the warrant of arrest. Soriano was allowed to post a P400,000 bail bond (P200,000 for each count).The charge was dismissed but was later refiled in a higher court by the country’s Department of Justice Secretary, Raul Gonzales.
In November 2006, an arrest warrant was issued against Soriano by Judge Lucina Dayaon, Macabebe. After more than a year and a half of living as a fugitive, news came out that Soriano finally emerged from hiding and posted a P240,000 bail at a police Station in Pandacan, Manila on June 21, 2008. On August 29, 2008, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that Soriano and two others were sued for violation of Art. 171, Revised Penal Code of the Philippines (falsification of public documents) at the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office.
