    Venus in Transit over Old Town, Wichita Ks

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     photogirlkt captured this photo of the Transit of Venus from the top of a parking garage in Wichita, Kansas. "I realized that astrological events like these are one of the only opportunities we have as a civilization to connect as one," she says, adding, "I honestly did feel a connection with the world while I was witnessing the transit."

    I ventured to the top of a parking garage to shoot Venus in transit at sunset. This photo was taken in Old Town (a part of downtown) in Wichita Kansas.
