    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     anthonyclark took this photo on his Nikon D7000 while visiting Clearwater, FL. "Around dinner time the beaches clear some," he says. "As the time for sunset approaches, beach combers arrive with lawn chairs and towels and just sit down for the show... I think it's a time of pause in the daily activities and opportunity for reflection of our place on this earth. The grand majesty of the event grabs our attention and has significant meaning to us."

    Evenings on the Gulf of Mexico are moments of reflection on the day.  A time where the pace of the American pragmatism slows to a point of non existence and maybe, just maybe we are reminded of our place on this planet in this moment of majestic color, texture, and presence.
