    Shuttle Enterprise on the Hudson

    Today I spent the entire morning photographing the shuttle Enterprise being barged up the Hudson River. I first spotted it passing Miss Liberty, and then heading slightly parallel to Verrazano Bridge and then north.

     

    Every step of the way, fire boats sailed along or/and waited for the shuttle, showering it in water. The barge carrying the shuttle waited for the crane to arrive. Then, once connected to the crane, it moved and rotated, offering a 360-persepective of the shuttle. Quite a treat.
