Venus Transit - Good Night & Good Bye

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     janiannd was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when she captured a photo of the Venus crossing the sun. She says that although she was only limited to seeing half of the transit because it was not visible in its entirety in her area, she says it was an incredible experience, especially because of the rarity of the event. 'Venus looks so small, yet it's close to the same size as Earth. It causes me to wonder what an Earth transit would look like from the next planet out,' she says.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Say good night Venus, see you again in 105 years. The last glimpse of Venus at the horizon's edge.
