Seoul, Pictures
The attached pictures are some I have taken here in Seoul. In some of the pictures, you can see a tower rising above the city line resembling that of the Toronto, CN Tower. The Seoul version is known as Namsan Tower as it sits atop the much visited Namsan (South Mountain) that sits just north of Han River which pretty much meanders through the middle of the city. Some of the wide city shots are taken from the viewing area in the tower.
There is at least one picture of the well-known and aptly named 'Yook-sam Building' (63 Building) named after its number of floors. This golden wonder is the pride of all Koreans and is currently the highest tower in South Korea.
Finally, there is a couple of pictures showing the Han River boats at work while others are resting.
This city is one that is in a constant state of flux. Demolition and re-construction are a daily occurrence. Seoul (pop. approx 10 million), a place where help from its locals is easy to come by by use of a quick nod and cordial smile, is often nicknamed as one of the safest biggest cities in the world.
