Transit of Venus Viewing Party in Quezon City, Philippines

Student astronomy organizations organized a "Transit of Venus" viewing party at the National Science Complex Amphitheater in the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.
Dozens of skywatchers and astronomy enthusiasts attended the event. Experts also gave astronomy talks and attendees were also treated to a free mobile planetarium show.
Those in the Philippines saw the transit in its entirety. The transit lasted for about six hours.
The “Transit of Venus” viewing party titled “Rekindling Venus” was organized by the UP Astronomical Society, UPLB Astronomical Society, RTU Astronomy Society, and the Australian Embassy Manila.
