    Syrian fighting in manhattan NY

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     CiaPak says anti-Assad and pro-Assad demonstrators clashed outside the United Nations on June 07, during a Syrian demonstration on 1st Avenue and 47th Street in New York City. He says the demonstration consisted of 30 anti-Assad Syrians and close to 100 pro-Assad Syrians. The injured man in the iReport is a pro-Assad Syrian who had gotten into a fight with an anti-Assad Syrian that afternoon, according to CiaPak. He adds that the New York Police Department and an ambulance were on the scene soon after the assault. CiaPak says both demonstrators were arrested after the assault. CNN reached out to the NYPD, who stated they were unable to located arrest records of the two individuals at this time.
