    RC-East operational update | June 5

    BAGRAM, Afghanistan (June 5, 2012)   – Afghan and coalition forces killed three insurgents #   and detained six suspects during operations  in eastern Afghanistan throughout the past 24 hours, June 4.   Logar Province Afghan National Army soldiers and coalition forces killed three insurgents and detained six during an engagement in Charkh District. The detained suspects were found with military equipment in the vicinity of the engagement and were transferred to a base for questioning.   Operations in RC-East are still ongoing.
