    Rainbow over lower Manhattan

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JEB2001 ssays after the rain let up he and his girlfriend saw a rainbow strech across their Manhattan neighbor. 'I've never in my life seen a full rainbow ... I uploaded it because I wanted to share it. It was just too rare an occurrence not to,' he says.

    Last Sunday (6/3/12) was quite rainy; my girlfriend and I were in our apartment most of the day. When we noticed the rain abating, we decided to head out...but before we did, we noticed this amazing site. I quickly retrieved my camera phone and shot this photo. I've never in my life seen a full rainbow in Manhattan...and if you look closely, you can see the beginnings of a double rainbow forming on the extreme sides of same.
