    Tripoli says no to weapons

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ichalhoub says recent clashes erupted between two groups of people over the situation in Syria in parts of Triploi, Lebanon. 'Guns are being smuggled to Tripoli and the clashes are seriously affecting the capital of north Lebanon,' he says. The rising death toll is also affecting Tripoli's economy, 'people are not able to work. Shops are not selling products, and money is not flowing. People from the civil society decided to demonstrate in order to refute weapons,' he says. Since the start of the Syrian unrest, he says the people of Lebanon have been split about the situation. 'The Lebanese people are divided over Syrian. Some members of this group are even organizing demonstrations to support the Syrians. Very few people seem to take a careless attitude from what is happening in the neighboring country,' he says.
