Bengali Rohingyas are trying to burn 14 Mingan Ward in northern Sittway Township. Security forces are trying to stop them.
The mobs are attempting to burn down the wards where enough security forces do not exist. When the security forces come in, they step back. But they try again for arson attack when the security forces move to other place.
A rescue camp is opened at the Four-Mile police battalion in Maungdaw Township. About 1,000 refugees flooded into the camp where enough foods are not available.
Bengalis themselves set fire their houses in Shwepyar Ward in northeast of Sittway and adjacent to western Kaladan River. Then they fled by boats from there. 30 houses were burnt.
