    Pensacola Flooding During and After

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     LostSole captured these before and after photos of severe flooding in Pensacola, Florida. "It was extremely unexpected. I've never seen a flood like that, and it took everyone off guard." The photos of the flooding were captured on June 9, 2012, and the photos of the aftermath were captured on the morning of June 11, 2012.

    I was almost victim of the flooding a few days ago as I drove my van through what looked to be very shallow water in a strip mall parking lot, only to find out it as over 2 feet deep! My van managed to get to the edge of the deep water before stalling out. It restarted back up and all was fine. But for many others in my neighborhood and city, they were no so lucky. I posted a report showing the images during the flooding so I thought I would post some aftermath from the photo I took that became very popular. Also I found that the Lost Sole I took a blurry photo of due to the downpour, had settled nicely onto what is now dry ground, and got a clean shot of it this time.
