    Smoke from High Park Fire surrounds CSU Campus

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     thrushj told me, 'We could smell and see the smoke in the area particularly the north side of Fort Collins. It was covering the sun and looked like a very polluted day in Los Angeles.' (Note: he adjusted the contrast somewhat on these images.)

    I was at Colorado State University Campus Sunday 6-10 and shot these pictures of the smoke from High Park Fire engulfing the Campus. Students and soon to be students and parents were going about their business. The fire is 20 miles from the Campus so no one is in danger there but the billowing smoke is still very eerie.
