    Rana in Bollywood!

The rugged Rana Daggubati seems to be positive about his continuing stint with Bollywood.

Despite his last film, Department having failed to make an impact at the box office, Rana seems undeterred. His upcoming projects have him busy, not only in Bollywood, but also down south.

What genres is this young man looking at? “Romance, or action, I would like to do it all. As cliched as it may sound, the only criteria for me is a good script alone,” he says. Even as a relatively new face, this actor has had, in his first two films itself, the privilege of acting with Amitabh as well as Abhishek Bachchan! How has the experience been? “Shooting with Abhishek (Bachchan) in Dum… was like bonding with a buddy, but working with Mr Bachchan (Amitabh) was really like being in an acting school. He’s an institute in himself, not only in acting, but as a person, there’s so much one could learn. So, I think just the chance to work with him made it all worthwhile for me,” says Rana. So with opportunities lined up, why the long gap between films? “It may look like I was away from films for a year after Dum Maaro Dum, but the fact is that I was doing several other films down South. So in a way it was no gap at all for me,” he replies.

Well, so long as your growing fan-following has nothing to complain of, march on!
