    High Park Fire, Smoke Sets In

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter lkschilling submitted these photos from the Bellvue, Fort Collins and Masonville areas of Colorado. She says now that the fire is starting to improve, the smoke is beginning to set in as far as Denver. She also took the pictures to capture the general good spirits of the people of Fort Collins doing what they can to help the troops and firefighters.

    Driving around Fort Collins, even as far as Loveland (CO) smoke has moved in and settled. Visibility is poor and the incessant smell of fire is a constant reminder of what is happening just over the foothills. Progress is being made, we are at 10% containment which is a positive improvement. In an effort to help, all I can do is pray for rain. Come on rain, pour down on us! Many thanks to the countless service men and women, firefighters, pilots, volunteers, as well as common people just willing to help in any way they can. It's times like these, when people come together that the best part of the human spirit is seen.
