    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     aztackman of Phoenix, Arizona, documents the various shapes and sizes of the cucumbers he planted in his backyard in April.

    First major harvest of cucumbers.Started from seed on 4/1/12. Cucumbers come in all shapes.They have these tiny little spins sticking out. I thought,how do I get these off?
    Well,when you take the cucumbers off the vine,you brush them lightly with your hands and the spines fall right off.

     

    Plenty more to come off.My Co-workers are getting fed good.
