    11 Month old Son Wonders What the Hail Just Happened

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MarkPritchar Mark Alan Pritchard says the hail storm that hit Dallas, Texas on June 13, materialized in a matter of moments as he was getting ready for dinner with his family. 'We started hearing small dings on our roof followed by stronger knocking capped off by an all out pounding,' he says. The storm lasted for approximately 15 minutes, according to MarkPritchar, but he says their roof will need extensive repair. He says the hail pieces started off as golf ball size pieces but increased in size during the storm. 'I thought that the picture I sent in gave a great perspective on the size of the hail and the emotions of the moment caught in my son's face,' he says.

    A huge hail storm came through downtown Dallas with baseball and golfball size hail. We took a picture with my son to give perspective.
