    My husband died several years ago. I have been on COBRA for 18 months and it is expiring. I applied for health care coverage in Nevada and was declined!!!

    I am 61 year old widow and was declined due to pre existing conditions!!

    My alternative is to enroll in a Nevada sponsored plan at $1000 per month and get coverage only when I incur over $35,000 per year in medical care expenses.

    What is wrong with this picture!!!
