    Write-In Time

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Mahariffic says she's worried presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney 'will try to treat the U.S. as a corporation' and 'he is such a chameleon, I do not know what to believe with this guy.' On the other side, she says, 'Though I agree with several things [President Barack] Obama has done, he has failed miserably in working with Congress. Congress is a joke, but I think enough of them can be sheep and this country needs a stern shepherd, so to speak.'

    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

Since neither candidate for president inspires any serious improvement or change for the better, I plan to write in the name of a candidate whom I believe has the ability to straighten out the nation's mess. Since many feel as I do, maybe a real opportunity exists for a write-in candidate. I think if Rudy Giuliani could do for America what he did for New York City, he'd produce another modern miracle. PACs don't own him nor do any way-out, narrow political factions. He's courageous and honorable, I think. What do you all think? Who would be your dream pick, political parties aside? (Otherwise, I'd vote to bring Bill Clinton back in...)
