    In 2008 I was making the average median income and just as my son entered college the economy tanked. Now we're swimming in debt and hoping for the best. I certainly understand the Occupiers but am too engaged to join their ranks. Why our politicians are unwilling to do what's best for the country instead of defeating their opponents rankles me. Big business and big government; it's all the same to me. It's winner take all and good luck with what's left. Thomas Jefferson warned us but we're lucky to remember that 30 years of unbridled greed has us where we are.
