    Fire From Boy Scout Camp

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mtintner, a photography instructor at the Ben Delatour Boy Scout Camp in Colorado, says the first session of camp was evacuated Thursday night because of its proximity to the High Park fire. In less than three hours late Thursday, the camp cleared out the 180 campers and 40 staff.
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

I am a photography instructor at Ben Delatour Scout ranch. The fire has been gradually getting closer to the camp how ever we had campers for the first week. In spite of being covered by smoke for parts of 3 days the staff, scouts, and adults were all in high spirits. Thursday June 15th we called an emergency meeting right after dinner. The staff, and scout masters were told we had to evacuate that night. At the meeting many scout masters said this was the best year of camp they have ever had. In less then 3 hours the camp was cleared out. The fire is now less then miles from the main area of camp.
